Yulara takes its name from the local Aboriginal words for "howling" and "dingoes," which conveys the town's isolated location in the Outback.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Kuniya Walk and Kata Tjuta. Escape the urban bustle at Walpa Gorge and Uluru Hiking Path. When in Yulara, make a side trip to see Valley of the Winds in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, approximately 1h 10 min away. The adventure continues: explore the striking landscape at Uluru, identify plant and animal life at Red Desert Reptiles, don't miss a visit to Anangu Uwankaraku Punu Aboriginal corporation, and take in the exciting artwork at Walkatjara Art.

In April in Yulara, expect temperatures between 34°C during the day and 17°C at night. On the 5th (Sun), you're off tohome.
