Lent iconic status as a result of its famous bridge and opera house, Sydney has a down-to-earth charm that enhances its spectacular setting and functional efficiency.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame and Australian National Maritime Museum. Get some cultural insight at The Rocks and Sydney Opera House. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sydney: Shelly Beach (in Manly), Katoomba (Canyoning & Rappelling Tours, The Giant Stairway, & more) and Blue Mountains National Park (Lincoln's Rock & The National Pass). Spend the 4th (Thu) exploring nature at Sydney Harbour National Park. And it doesn't end there: see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, see the interesting displays at Historical Aircraft Restoration Society, stroll through Bondi Beach, and hike along The Opera House to the Botanic Gardens Walk.

On the 7th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: brush up on your military savvy at The Australian Armour & Artillery Museum, then admire the sheer force of Crystal Cascades, then admire the sheer force of Josephine Falls, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Monica's Cathedral.
