Brisbane to Launceston is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of car and ferry. While traveling from Brisbane, expect a bit cooler days and much colder nights in Launceston, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Coles Bay.

Kick off your visit on the 26th (Sat): experience rural life at Freycinet Marine Farm, take a leisurely stroll along Coles Bay Jetty, then get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and finally walk along Wineglass Bay Lookout.

You can drive from Launceston to Coles Bay in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and car; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 26th (Sat) so you can go by car to Port Arthur.
