Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Dolphin & Whale Watching and Devils Slide. Escape the urban bustle at Waychinicup National Park and The Gap and Natural Bridge. Go for a jaunt from Albany to Denmark to see Greens Pool about 1 hour away.
